Mommy and Dishes

You know you are a mom when one minute you are using your KitchenAid to make rolls for dinner and then next you are using it to make ice cream play dough.

But since I love my girl...I do it!

It was pretty fun too!

All it takes is 3/4 cup conditioner (cheap kind works great) and 1 1/2 cups cornstarch. We added food coloring and used strawberry conditioner to make it smell yummy!

It does make a little mess but clean up was easy peasy!

She loves helping out with chores. She make her bed every day, twice, nap and when she wakes up in the morning. She helps with laundry, cleaning the bathrooms and doing the dishes. The other day we were in the living room and she had left into the kitchen, we heard some noises and Miah asked her what she was doing...just cleaning the dishes Daddy!

Well good work is hard to come by these days. But this one looked so cute!

She stopped only for a moment to tell me her belly was getting wet and that she needs her apron.

This mom is definitely going to go crazy between pink goop in my kitchen aid and a daughter that hates clothes!

What is your busiest time of year? I honestly thought it was the holidays but then every time the spring rolls around....it is hectic but lovely. This year has been even more crazy. With Miah winding down his first year of Dental School...WHOOP WHOOP! We have been searching for a house, in which we found, Bells started playing tball, we play coed softball and with keeping up with daily life.

Maybe there isn't a busy part of the year...it is just life!

A cake I made for my two loves for Valentines day. Chocolate cake, filled with fresh cut strawberries, strawberry puree, covered with chocolate fudge frosting, topped with chocolate covered strawberries and more fresh cut strawberries.

Playing at Papa and Grandma Tiger's house.

Helping Grandma Tiger decorate for Easter.

Blowing bubbles what a kid does best.

Playing with her monster shoes. Although she doesn't need shoes to be a monster!

Attaching Grandma Tiger with Bubbles.

I am pretty sure they don't make bubbles the way they used to. They absolutely stink, pretty sure it is just water these days.

Shooting at targets with Daddy.

Just the girls handing out for my birthday.

Life is good but life is busy!
But we love it!

This Day Rocked

You know those days where the sun is shining, you really don't have a lot to do and it is just chill? Oh did I mention Daddy is home early?
Well we love those days!
So we decided to paint some rocks by the pool. This was brought on because my parents brought over a rock that I had painted as a youngen, which in fact I still am a youngen, and Bells just thought it was the most amazing thing. My mom was awesome when I was a kid, we were always doing all sorts of crafts. But we loved painting rocks. The coolest thing, they still used them as paper weights.
Bells decided it was time to paint her own rocks.
We gathered a bunch of rocks from our apartment building area, shhhh, we couldn't help it, they were screaming at us to PAINT ME! And of course, I always have paint on hand, I think there is some sort of law against not having paint!
Who is that scruffy man in the blue shirt?
My lovely, handsome, tired but excited to be with his family husband!

All the supplies you will need.

Plus one happy kid that is!
Did I say kid? No I mean baby, she is my baby....she is not 4 years old! She is my BABY!

And this is why he is going to be the best dentist around. He is an amazing artist, perfection is always a must and his pure concentration.

Just like her Daddy. She actually is very definite on being a doctor when she grows up. She looks at all the nasty slides when Miah studies and shoots all sorts of questions at him. She isn't grossed out but very interested and she then says tells him, when she grows bigger she will be a doctor so she can help them out.

I am not sure how she got paint on her lips but she was very embarrassed about it. I almost didn't get a picture of it.

Do you see the Harrison chin? My shadow is a perfect witch? Halloween here I come! Bells has the same one but since it is covered in chubs right now, it is hard to tell.

Our masterpieces!

Will Hawaii ever leave our hearts? No, it will forever be our home. Miah painted some beautiful rocks for his girls to remind us of the beaches. I painted some rock monsters for Bells, a butterfly  and she created the most beautiful ones.

What a great afternoon to spend with the 3 of Us!

4 Years Old

Where has the time gone? My baby is 4 and I'm so happy she is healthy and growing so big but it makes me sad. Why does it happen so fast. I need to stop and cherish every freaking living moment with my little family of three.

February 4th our little girl turned 4. We didn't have a party, things were crazy hectic. We are so not the parents to not have a party, especially have a cake. I mean seriously, that is our thing. But you have no idea how crazy our life has been. So we just had some fun with the three of us.
She woke up to this. A birthday tradition, you get your own cupcake for breakfast. She LOVES this! Of course pink frosting and green sprinkles.
T-Rex came to the breakfast party though!

Can you just see her excitement? Or is that her craziness?
Either way, I love this girls spunk!

Present time

Spiderman sheets to match her spiderman blanket, perfect.
She tells me spiderman will keep her safe and warm during naps and at night. Hey whatever works, right?

She loved this card. It made her miss Hawaii she said.

Smile for the camera birthday girl, we love you!!

She can be sweet sometimes, like sharing her birthday cupcake with T-Rex.

Happy 4th Birthday Bells!!

We love you to the moon, universe, earth and stars and back....3 times!!
