We Made It Through Hell

I would love to lie and say we soared through this first year of dental school...

So I will....
It was a breeze!

We made it through! I knew we would but gosh I'm glad it is over!
If you were to ask a dental school student or their family if you would give them 1 million dollars to redo the first year of dental school over again....

NO!
Not for any amount of money and as for myself, I would go as far as, not for even for Nike.

I will repeat myself....NO!!

I am so thankful for the most patient, relaxed, doesn't show stress, smart and just purely awesome husband in the world. He is why we got through this. That and the most amazing meals he had waiting for him when he got home. Only to scarf them down in 5 minutes and then hit the books again. (okay I added that last part in just for laughs)

We had a transition period, we had to move out of our apartment on the 11th and we couldn't move into our house until June 1st. What were we to do?

Head down to my parents house and enjoy the country. We love it over there. There is no city things and just lots of farms. I think Miah enjoys it because there are plenty of golf courses.

We have been doing a lot of nothing....

swimming
going to the movie theatre
bike riding
running
painting
clay making
bookmark making
legos
dance parties
cooking
walks
pictures

We decided to go for a walk one day and here are some fun pictures we took.

I absolutely love this picture. Just look at how much she is enjoying having her Daddy around.

She loves the train tracks, so we went there too. Great Grandma told us it is illegal....oops!
He always finds a way to make my heart beat a little faster.
Gosh darn, I'm not being all gooey lovey dovey either.
He throws her, balances her but he sure does adore her!

Balancing just like Daddy.

One of her new favorites....hopscotch. Playing it on the train tracks, not the best.
Especially when a train is coming.

I love this little mini me so much.

She is B-E-A-UTIFUL!

Hopscotch

Miah's turn with the camera.

Look at the field. I miss seeing the greenery in the city. Or really just in Arizona.
He tells the story of the picture....
While holding the hand of my little girl, the love of our life, I can't help but stare at the love of my life. And think to myself, how blessed I am.

Pure excitement that this year is over!

She loved the fields.

Victory I say! Victory!

I wish sometimes that time would just stand still or crawl a little slower.
Especially at times like this. I love to just stand back with the camera and watch.

Now that we have made it through this year, I know the last three will be easy.
I think so anyway. They will bring different challenges. Ya know like my baby girl starting preschool. I know a lot of people who can't wait for their children to start and to get a break. But gosh, I just love my girl. We have the best time together. I am excited for her to experience that and the whole sha-bang but I'm scared, real scared.

To all of you who helped me through this year....
Thank You!
I Love You!
Sorry, you still won't be getting free dental work.
