Baggers I Love You

Do you know where Baggers is?
Well you should because we simply love it. It is more of a local spot and quiet. It is where you can let the kiddos play in the water without worrying about the huge waves. You could even get a tan without tan lines here, if you dare!
Miah's new schedule rocks. He is able to be home more often and spend family time with his favorite girls.
Yesterday was wonderful. I have been pretty sick again the last three days and in some need for fresh air. We packed up and spent three hours here.
It was just the three of us....
That is all we needed!
Well and some sun, sand and ocean!!

We are a bunch of beach "bums"!!

Getting ready to find some treasures.

These two are my world. I fall in love with them every time I see them.
Especially at times like this.

Now it is time to take in some sun and relax.

KitchenAid Bliss

I have a problem...
I am my mother's child....
That is not my problem.
My problem is I always look for something to create, craft and decorate. I never and when I say never, I mean NEVER sit still. My mother is the most talented, artistic, crafty and amazing person I know. I am not even close to her ability but I am glad I take after her. My lovely KitchenAid, Miah got me because we moved here and I left mine in Alaska and I burned the motor on the hand mixer. I needed a KitchenAid. He surprised me and what a lovely surprise it was. That is where my problem came knocking. It was plane white (sorry no before pictures). It was screaming for excitement. We had decorated our house with red, black and white. Plus a little Hawaiian Sass. I had red and black contact paper. I went to work drawing all the flowers, cutting them out and strategically placed each flower on. I loved it.
What do you think?

Ohhhh how fancy?

Definitely a Hawaiian KitchenAid!

We wanted to change our house decorations. As you have seen previously, we went with grey, teal and a sea green color. Therefore I had to change the KitchenAid.
Yep, mother's daughter syndrome came knocking once again.
I peeled each flower off, cleaned it, sanded it down. Spray painted it grey, painted the stripes. My wonderful husband drew the stencil on contact paper, cut it out, placed it on the KitchenAid, then painted it and peeled it off. I love it. Who wouldn't?

It is a lot simpler then the Hawaiian, which I like.

Matches our house perfectly.

Now it is your turn. Get out there, grab your KitchenAid, grab some paint and start going at it. The possibilities are endless. You don't even have to paint your KitchenAid, just paint something. I love to paint, it is almost therapeutic.
Happy Monday!!!

Sisters!!

Can you guess who these three little cuties are?
Pinky Angel- My Oldest Sister Danielle
Strawberry Blonde- My Middle Sister Averie
Chubby Baldy- Me

Wow, how time has changed.
But time change didn't bring me to this computer. Missing my sisters terribly has brought me here.

My sisters are completely gorgeous! As you can tell, I was the tomboy and still am.
They did have their fun dressing me up, refer to the picture below. They did the make-up, hair and dressed me. Although we did have matching Pink Nike Shoes, I got a touch of my style in there somewhere.

What I would do to have a day, wait, a weekend with my sisters. I would love to have them come here and just hangout. We could go shopping, pedicures, beach time, eat and talk till 9pm (hey, that is late for me).

I miss the spunky-ness of my oldest sister. You have to be on top of your game around her. I guess it is the red hair. I miss her laugh. I miss her sisterly love in person. She has a heart of gold and will drop anything for her sisters. She is a wonderful Mom too!
Just look at her and her family now (minus the little guy Lawrence, was he sleeping?)

I miss the fun-loving middle sister. This girl is always on the go. I love that about her. She believes in anybody and anything. Nothing is impossible, as long as you are alive. She is so hard working. She too is spunky, it must be in the Edwards blood. I miss her looks and how she can make me laugh no matter what. Our wonderful inside jokes. She too is such a great mom!
I love this picture of her and her family....it shows how fun they are!!

The Three of Us!
I even look a little different. Thanks to my sisters for teaching me some style.

My sisters mean the world to me. Even though I moved to a small Island far far away, doesn't mean I don't think of them when I lived right down the road. I think about them daily. Ya know, if they came here,  we wouldn't even have to  do anything, I would love to just sit in a car with them. As long as I would get to see them.
People ask who you look up to. I look up to my sisters. They are amazing. They have been through so much and were so strong. They both have amazing families and are so happy. They protect me like big sisters should, even though I tower over both of them. I couldn't have asked for better sisters.

I Love You D and Ave!!
I Miss You Girls So Much!!

Bat Wings Mommy!!!

I was on Pinterest and Bells came to sit on my lap, she saw these bat wings and told me she wants to fly like a bat too.
I made her dream come true....

She ran around in them the whole day and the next morning.

She is thinking where she could fly to next.

Then she was off.

She would often stop and admire her wings.
It is seriously the simple things in life that make her smile!!

Bathroom Re-Do

Ooooo Fancy!!
We were sick of our colors in the house and so we decided to switch things up a bit.
The first room that is finished, the bathroom. I love how it turned out, there is only so much you can do with TVA Apartments.

We got a plain white shower curtain and some FREE paint (Ace was giving quarts away Saturday, we walked away with 4). We decided on grey stripes. Measured, taped and then painted. I was surprised with how well it turned out.

Have I mentioned how I love decorating the cheap way. Garage sales, side of the road treasures, freebie bin, etc. A few weekends ago, I asked Miah if he could build me a shelf for the bathroom. He designed something on paper. While driving, I saw this on the side of the road. I told him to pull over. I walked up to the house and they were cleaning out their garage. I asked if they were selling the stuff at the end of the driveway...NOPE. Take what you want!! This awesome medicine cabinet and jumper cables. Miah was happy, he didn't have to build me anything.
Free cabinet + Free paint = Awesomeness!!

Inside my lovely cabinet....of course my DoTerra Oils and Vitamins. Have you heard of them, tried them? If not, you need to. I love them and will continue to use them for as long as I live. My doctor here gave up on my kidney and autoimmune disease...I didn't. I turned to DoTerra.
Try it!

I made this awhile ago. I picked this 1920's Print Press Tray Beauty up on Ebay. I turned it into my beach collection display. I love how it turned out. It hangs on the wall across from the toilet. Something lovely to look at while doing your duty. I will take this with me where ever we move to. I will someday change it to the seasons or holidays. I love it, such endless designs.
My mom wants one so bad. Sorry Mom, I love this one too much. I will get you one when we move off the Island. I promise. The hours we will spend decorating them together.
I'm excited!!

I found these shower curtain rings at a garage sale, one set 50 cents!! Told ya I was cheap that way. Well they were funky 70's colors. I painted them too, with the free paint and some white I had lying around. Then smacked a few clear coats....BOOM!!

A closer look. I love how they bring the colors all in.

Our bathroom is finished. Bells walked in and said she loved it, the paint was pretty. The rest of the house is on its way. I'll post the rooms as they get finished. But for now, I am going to go sit in my bathroom and enjoy the wonderful new view!!!

Nike Love

We are seriously such a crazy couple.
Just look at us.
Hahaha
I am excited to let you know that Bells got her first pair of shoes and guess what she wanted....
drum roll please....
NIKE SHOES!!!
I have taught her well and she makes me so proud.
We had to get her a pair of shoes because we were planning on going hiking and she is old enough to walk the whole way, I laugh as I am writing this. We went to Nordstrom Rack and I let her pick. She held my hand down the isle and said she wanted pink, it is her favorite color. Then she said she wanted shoes like Mommy. A little confused, I never wear shoes...EVER!!
As we walked a little further, she let go of my hand and ran and scooped up these cute Nike shoes. She showed them to me and said they were like Mommy and pointed to the Nike swoosh. Be still my beating heart, be still!!

We have everything we need,
Love and Nike!

Every time we go to Sports Authority we walk to the girls section and I want to buy her the little girls running shorts and a shirt to match. But as I said before, we are on our way to join a nudist colony Jeremiah reminds me and I put them back.

B-E-A--U-TIFUL!!

I was on a run the other day in my new running shoes, I kept thinking to myself...
I feel sorry for Cinderella, her prince got a pair of heels. My prince got me a pair of Nike Shoes.
She has no idea what she is missing out on.
Poor Cinderella!!
