We spent a few hours at Sunset Beach the other day. It was HOT. Did I mention that summer is here? Well it is and all you want to do is be at the beach, in the calm, blue / green ocean.
Daddy went out snorkeling almost right away. He couldn't stop talking about how perfect it is and he has to find his girls some treasures. Bells and I worked on out tan for about 35 seconds and then she wanted to swim.
I should of worked on my tan a little longer! I swear she is my child, many people here don't believe me. Besides the tan skin and eyes, that girl is ALL Mommy!
Maybe I will get a pic of me at the same age and you will see.
Look what Daddy found for us! Bells loved it. She kept looking through it and telling me she was looking for her pirate treasure. I love this picture, I caputred her eye perfectly!
I laugh when I hear people say I just hate the sand. Well I have to let them in on a secret. They live on an Island...there is sand EVERYWHERE!!
We got over the sand and embrace it. We have sand in our hair, our fruit snacks, our car, sometimes our bed after a long day at the beach and yep we have sand where the sun don't shine!
But we love it!
Please excuse the battered up eye, she got hit by a girl on a bike. Poor little girl! She got a bloody nose, scrapes, bruises and swelling.
She is tough thouh and just wanted to watch Jurrasic Park and Cuddle.
I love the beach, always have always will. I went to the beach almost daily in Alaska too. It had a different beauty to it. I will admit I am a little scared to not live by the ocean, I am excited to find different adventures and it helps me to know someday we will be back living in Hawaii.
